Whale Watch - At Boston

Our destination is Stellwagen Bank Marine Sanctuary, a rich feeding ground for whales, dolphins, sea birds and other marine life. This area is home to several kinds of large whales, including humpback whales, finback whales, minke whales, as well as pilot whales.

City Of Boston

The Massachusetts State House was built between 1795 and 1797 on Beacon Hill and overlooks the Boston Common.

Macro photography

I have just started to take Macro pictures and here is my first pictures, which was taken from hotel window at Boston.

I have taken the picture using a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro Lens, an excellent macro lens - and may be Canon's most fun per dollar lens. This is the lens I most frequently recommend for someone starting out in macro photography.

Trip to South Of TamilNadu

The Agasthiyamalai range of the western ghats as seen from the rainshadow region of Tirunelveli, India. The southwest monsoon brings rain up to the ghats in Kerala while the other side in Tamil Nadu remains dry. The city is considered to be one of the oldest in the Indian subcontinent, with a history that dates back to 1000 BC. The city is located on the west bank of the perennial river, Thamirabarani.

Ambasamudram - A small town (a.k.a Ambai) in the foothills of Western Ghats is one of the five taluk headquarters of the district. Ambasamudram serves as the main transit point for Papanasam, Manimuthar, Courtallam and for Sabarimala devotees going through Shengottai. Situated in the banks of the perennial river Tamirabarani, it is one of the most pristine and fertile towns of the district. The town is famous for its Wooden Handicrafts (Kadasal). There is a famous temple named Agasthiyar Kovil and it was named because of some true incidents.
