Arulmigu Subramaniaswamy Temple Tiruchendur

Arulmigu Subramaniaswamy Temple Tiruchendur is situated in Tuticorin District. The temple is located within 60 KMs from Tirunelveli. We travelled from Ambasamudaram by car.

Also, the southern raliway is operating train services from Tirunelveli to Tiruchendur from 6.50 A.M., 9.20 A.M., 1.20 P.M., & 5.50 P.M., Similarly trains are running from Tiruchendur to Tirunelveli from 6.50 A.M., 1.20 Noon, 3.50 P.M., and 5.50 P.M.

Madras Crocodile Bank

The Madras Crocodile Bank Trust (MCBT) is a reptile zoo and herpetology research station, located 40km south of the city of Chennai, in state of Tamil Nadu, India.

It was established with the aim of saving three Indian endangered species of crocodile - the marsh or mugger crocodile, the saltwater crocodile, and the gharial, which at the time were all nearing extinction.

Ants At Work

Ants are social insects of the family Formicidae, they belong to the order Hymenoptera. Ants evolved from wasp-like ancestors in the period between 110 and 130 million years ago and diversified after the rise of flowering plants. Today, more than 12,000 species are classified with upper estimates of about 14,000 species.They are easily identified by their elbowed antennae and a distinctive node-like structure that forms a slender waist.
